Aum Foundation is seeking proposals from qualified executive search, human resources, and recruiting firms to lead a comprehensive search for our next Executive Director. The selected firm will partner with Aum Foundation’s Board of Directors and staff to identify and recruit a mission-aligned leader who can guide the organization into its next chapter of growth. Proposals are due September 4, 2026.

Whether you're a high school senior, returning to school after time away, pursuing a graduate degree, or seeking financial assistance for higher education, P.E.O. offers programs designed to support women at every stage of their educational journey.

WEDC Scholarship Application
Merit-based scholarship for women pursuing undergraduate study, open year-round to current university students in our network.
Virtual application
  • Must be at least 19 years of age

  • Must be a United States Citizen

  • Must be currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year academic program at an SACS-accredited institution

    •  If attending a two-year institution, must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours.

    •  If attending a four-year institution, must have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours.

  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater

  • Must be currently employed a minimum of 40 hours per month

  • Must NOT currently hold a Bachelors Degree

  • You or your immediate family are not members of the WEDC (Women's Economic Development Council) or a member of the WEDC Foundation Board of Directors.

Reliable transportation is often the key to keeping a job and achieving financial stability. Wheels 4 Working helps eligible low-income, working individuals overcome transportation barriers by providing assistance with necessary vehicle repairs. Their goal is to keep working people working by ensuring dependable transportation remains available for employment and other essential needs. Eligibility requirements apply and vary by program.
